Your financial figures stay on your own device. We don't see them, store them, or send them anywhere. The only personal information we collect is an email address — and only if you choose to give it to us.
We use your waitlist email only to contact you about Money Runway (product updates, early access). Server logs are used to operate and secure the site.
We use service providers to run the site — notably Cloudflare (hosting, security) and Yahoo Finance (market data, which only ever receives ticker symbols). These providers may process data on servers outside Australia. We don't otherwise disclose your personal information.
We use your browser's local storage to save your plans, budget and watchlist on your device so they're there when you return. This data stays on your device. We don't use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
We take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we hold (essentially waitlist emails). Because your financial data never leaves your browser, the main way to remove it is to clear your browser's local storage. We keep waitlist emails until you ask us to delete them or the waitlist is closed.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you (your waitlist email) at any time. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first; if unresolved, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Money Runway is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16.
